I’m Boo Davis, a designer, illustrator and quilter, plus all-around organizer and overthinker. I love taking messy piles of stuff (ideas, data, fabric) and making things that are cohesive and beautiful.

Journalism is in my blood, and my career so far has been a Seattle publication tour of duty. I've worked for The Seattle Times and Seattle Weekly, and I'm currently Art Director of Seattle's Child magazine. Read how I orchestrated a top-to-bottom brand refresh of this hip "Guide to a Kid-Friendly City" here.

In my off hours I make heavy metal-inspired quilts under the studio name, Quiltsrÿche. I’m also the author of the super visual how-to guide, Dare to Be Square Quilting. You can read articles about it here and here.

I’m available for fun collaborations! Please get in touch:
